“ Selfcare is the first responsibility of the Kaimirimiri (practitioner). Tino rangatiratanga is self-determination over one’s own wellbeing; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We assist people to take responsiblity for their own wellbeing; putting people back in the driver’s seat. Ultimately thats what Mirimiri and Romiromi is all about! ”

Workshops

From a traditional perspective, it is abundantly clear that one of the main reasons for the extreme levels of sickness and DIS-EASE we see in the world today is DISCONNECTION.

Disconnection from traditional knowledge and practices, from whenua (land), whakapapa (ancestral lines), wairua (spirituality), community, passion and purpose and most importantly, Disconnection from SELF.

Manawa Ora Mirimiri & Workshops teach Mirimiri and traditional Maori healing as a way to RECONNECT people once again.
