Manawa Ora Mirimiri Workshop - The Foundations of Māori Bodywork and Healing.
Now - more than ever - there is a focus on self-care and a revitalisation of our traditional healing practices.
This workshop will be held at Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood Education Centre, Thorndon, Wellington.
Date: Saturday 25th- Sunday 26th November.
Please note spaces for this workshop are STRICTLY LIMITED.
This is a 2-day workshop only - not a noho-marae (sleepover).
Hours are 9am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Please note this workshop will NOT qualify you as a practitioner.
You will be introduced to Mirimiri and Romiromi; basic protocols and the philosophies that underpin practice, wellbeing from a cultural perspective and the importance of selfcare.
If you are travelling from out of town please ensure you have made your own accommodation arrangements. Catering is provided.
The cost of this workshop is $400. Please note spaces are strictly limited. You will need to pay in full when registering.

Jolie Davis (Ngāti Kurī /Te Rarawa) is founder of Manawa Ora - one of the leaders in the Rongoā Māori space, with a team of practitioners and permanent clinic in Ngauranga, Wellington. She is also a panel member on the Rongoā Māori Advisory Panel to ACC.
